Who We Are
SpeakerBox is a culturally relevant program that empowers marginalized and justice-involved youth in Nashville through the transformative power of hip-hop. By fostering critical thinking, positive self-narratives, and leadership development, we aim to break cycles of violence and academic underachievement.
Mission
Our mission is to reduce youth violence and improve educational opportunities and outcomes by helping youth understand their stories, fostering personal growth, and preparing them for success in the classroom and beyond.

Hip-Hop Workshops
Our hip-hop-infused curriculum is designed to engage youth, promote positive outcomes, and develop social and cognitive awareness skills.
Leadership Camps
Our fall and summer camps empower youth with vital skills, equipping them to become leaders who inspire and positively impact their communities.
Service Learning
Real-world problems meet real-world solutions where students apply their learning to give back to the communities where they live, learn & play.
International Travel
Students gain a passport and a life-changing experience of international travel, where they engage with diverse cultures and deepen their understanding of hip-hop's global impact.
Digital Literacy
Students develop essential skills needed to safely navigate technology while exploring career opportunities in an increasingly digital landscape.
Mentor/ Coaching
Students gain incredible insight into their natural talents and how to develop them into strengths, enhancing their self-awareness, academic performance, and personal growth.
